Designers Working to Make Dentistry More Fashionable

World famous fashion designer Christian Audigier is working out a licensing agreement for his “Ed Hardy” designs that would allow their use for the manufacturers of toothbrushes, toothpastes and other dental products. He wants to team up with dentists to make high end dental “accessories.”

The Ed Hardy brand has become extremely successful in recent years. Some of Audigier’s biggest fans include: David Beckham, Britney Spears, Madonna and Michael Jackson. He hopes that by combining his unique style with some of the best dental care products on the market, that he can make brushing and flossing cool.

The Ed Hardy brand has already been extended beyond his fashion line to tattoo art, jewelry, skateboard design and even air fresheners. In a press release, Audigier said this about the dental products line, "This has never been done before--that's why it will succeed.”
