Louisiana Dentists

In the state of Louisiana, there is one dentist for every 1,844 people in the state, more than the national median of one dentist for every 1,650 inhabitants. In 2008, Louisiana has about 2,328 dentists performing dentistry. These dentists practice in various specialties of dentistry including general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pedodontics. Nearly all of these dentists are a part of the Louisiana Dental Association and well versed in practicing dental medicine in Louisiana.
