Illinois Dentists

As of today, there are about 8,705 dentists employed in dentistry in the state of Illinois. These dentists work in a number of specialties including general dentistry, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and periodontics. In Illinois, there is one dentist for every 1,476 people living in the state, more than the national range of one dentist for every 1,650 residents. Many of these dentists are members of the Illinois Dental Association and fully educated in practicing dentistry in Illinois.
