About Paul J. Steigerwald, DDS

Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Steigerwald earned his degree in dentistry at Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1984. Shortly thereafter, he earned specialty training in the field of periodontics at Farleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey. Dr. Steigerwald is a registered continuing education instructor for the California Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

He is personally committed to teaching others and educating himself so he can provide the best treatment possible for his patients. Dr. Steigerwald is a member of multiple professional organizations including The International Congress of Oral Implantologist, American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, California Dental Association and the Redwood Empire Dental Society. His is founder and director of an educational study club for dentists in Sonoma County. Despite his many academic and clinical accomplishments, the main focus of his practice is patient care. Every effort is made to assure a comfortable patient experience while achieving the best treatment results possible.

Dr. Steigerwald enjoys a variety of activities, mostly centered around his three children, Cole, Connolly and Cate. His wife, Cheryl, maintains the household and a position with Northwest Airlines as an International Flight Attendant.
