Dr. Fagan believes that service to his patients and to their general dentists is paramount! During your extremely thorough initial exam (about 1 and 1/2 hours), Dr. Fagan will examine the attachment of the gum around each tooth, evaluate the x-rays -- and educate you about your periodontal condition. He will provide you with a clear evaluation and discuss the options suited to your special needs. He will then send a treatment plan letter to your general dentist so that he or she is totally informed as to your needs. During treatment, and even after, Dr. Fagan will meet with your general dentist so that he or she is always updated as to your progress. Our goal is to enable you to halt the progression of periodontal disease and to restore your gums and bone to their healthy condition, which can then be predictably maintained in a comfortable, secure, and safe environment.
