Dr. Rogers attended the University of Utahas an undergraduate.He then attended Dental School at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Centerin Portland, where he received his D.M.D.(Doctor of Medical Dentistry)
Following graduation from dental school,he worked for two years as a general dentist for the U.S. Public Health Service on theNavajo Reservation in Arizonaand New Mexico.
He was then a resident in oral and maxillofacialsurgery in Alameda County Hospital, Oakland,California, for four years. He spent his first year asa resident in anesthesiology and the remaining threeyears were devoted to oral surgery and medicine.
He began practicing in Bend in 1982.
