Orthodontics is the dental specialty of correcting abnormally aligned or positioned teeth, and/or jaw relationships. Disorders of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) are also treated by orthodontists. A child's first visit to the orthodontist can be as early as 7 years of age, however, malocclusions can be improved at any age. Adult orthodontics is becoming a larger part of orthodontic service each year.
Our goal is to provide our patients with orthodontic treatment of the highest quality in a caring and friendly manner. Our staff is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in achieving our goal. Please feel free to ask questions. The more you know and understand about your treatment, the better we will be able to work together to provide you with a healthy and beautiful smile.
Dr. Griffin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia, and completed his Orthodontic Residency at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York.
